Abstract

Nutrition problems in Indonesia are still not resolved because nutritional factors greatly influence the development of human resources. Stunting is a growth disorder in young children caused by chronic malnutrition as well as infections in mothers and babies, resulting in children being too small for their age. One of the areas in East Java where cases are slowing down is Sidoarjo Regency. This research uses descriptive quantitative research with a short cross sectional approach. The cross sectional research method is research in which data collection is only carried out one observation or measurement (Suprajitno, 2013). In this research, the data collection technique used was distributing questionnaires. Simple linear regression data analysis technique using the SPSS software program. The result of this research is an analysis of the characteristics of respondents based on age, occupation and latest education. Apart from that, normality test, simultaneous test (F test), partial test (t test) and coefficient of determination test and simple linear regression test. Based on the results of data processing, it was found that the effectiveness of Regent's Regulation Number 89 of 2021 had an effect on the Acceleration of Reducing Integrity Stunting, so it can be concluded that the relatively small number of individuals and workers in Waru District are not many who are aware of Sidoarjo Regent's Regulation Number 89 of 2021.
