Abstract

The police institution is one of the agencies that has an important role in maintaining the security and comfort of the social community. However, in recent times, police institutions have experienced an image crisis due to cases caused by unscrupulous police officers. Also, the police are also very attached to an antagonistic and intimidating image. One of the efforts to improve the positive image of the police institution is by establishing the Art Policing program, which is a policing program that uses an art approach. This is an interesting and unique thing because the program contains aspirations and criticisms of the government through works of art. Thus, this research was conducted with the aim of finding out how the strategy of Sespim Lemdiklat in improving the positive image of the police institution through the art policing program was studie and self-promotion.
