Abstract

This research analyzes the personal branding of Muhammad Tohir, known as Boger Bojinov, a TikTok content creator who represents "jamet" content. The main focus is on how Boger utilizes his uniqueness to build attraction on the platform. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research applies the eight aspects of personal branding by Peter Montoya and Tim Vandehey. Data collection methods include observation and documentation. This study examines the TikTok account @boger_bojinov_taser_93, evaluating how Boger positions himself as a unique content creator representing "jamet" content. The findings show Boger Bojinov's success in creating and branding his TikTok account in accordance with Peter Montoya's eight laws of personal branding. His uniqueness lies in the combination of "jamet" identity with religious and humorous content. The research results reveal the effectiveness of Boger's personal branding in increasing engagement on his TikTok account @boger_bojinov_taser_93 while maintaining "jamet" content. This study provides insights into the effectiveness of personal branding through social media, particularly TikTok. The video content showcasing his "jamet" characteristics as Boger's trademark is not possessed by other content creators. Boger consistently uploads video content relevant to urban community life, which he has implemented since the initial creation of the @boger_bojinov_taser_93 account. It is evident that the video content on the TikTok account brings a positive influence to Boger Bojinov's image.
