Abstract

PT. Ragam Mulya Abadi is a commercial vehicle body manufacturing company located at Jalan Raya Menganti Jeruk No. 296a, Lakarsantri, Surabaya. The company operates from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a working duration of 9 hours per day. Currently, the company does not have a network diagram analysis or an understanding of the critical path in its projects. A network diagram represents the production process and the relationships between activities, while the critical path comprises the essential steps that must be completed on time to ensure the production schedule is met. This study employs the Critical Path Method (CPM) and Stopwatch Time Study to improve production efficiency, identify the critical path, and understand labor demand fluctuations throughout the year. The research findings indicate that the total standard time to complete one production cycle is 190 minutes, with the critical path A-B-D-E-G-H taking 3.9 hours. The labor demand analysis shows monthly variations over a one-year period. These findings are expected to assist PT. Ragam Mulya Abadi in planning and executing projects more efficiently, as well as optimizing labor requirements to enhance productivity and operational cost efficiency.
