Abstract

Kota Surabaya adalah salah satu Kota Metropolitan di Indonesia. Kota Surabaya menjadi Kota Bisnis dan memiliki berbagai destinasi untuk berlibur maupun bekerja. Sehingga Pemerintah Kota Surabaya mengambil Langkah dalam menjaga Kotanya agar menjadi lebih asri dan apik dengan cara menutup tempat lokalisasi yang salah satunya berada di Sememi Moroseneng. Dalam upaya tersebut Pemerintah Kota Surabaya telah mengambil langkah menjadikan Kawasan Eks Lokalisasi Sememi Moroseneng menjadi Kawasan Kampung Anggrek. Namun setelah langkah itu diambil kawasan tersebut tetap dalam keadaan sepi, gersang dan banyak bangunan rusak akibat ditinggalkan. Selain itu diduga tetap dilakukan aktivitas prostitusi secara diam-diam. Banyaknya warga yang kehilangan pekerjaan akibat penutupan lokalisasi ini. Oleh karenanya Penulis mengambil judul Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah rancangan, konsep, ide dan solusi untuk mengatasi masalah dalam kawasan tersebut. Penataan Kawasan Kampung Anggrek Eks Lokalisasi Sememi Moroseneng diharapkan dapat menjadi panduan dalam menata kawasan eks lokalisasi serta memberikan peluang bagi warga sekitar untuk melakukan wirausaha secara mandiri namun tetap dalam koridor dan konsep ikon Kampung Anggrek.
