Abstract

Perancangan fasilitas konservasi terumbu karang di Pelabuhan Perikanan Probolinggo ini bertujuan untuk mendukung upaya pelestarian ekosistem laut yang krusial, khususnya terumbu karang yang mengalami tekanan akibat aktivitas manusia dan perubahan iklim. Dengan pendekatan arsitektur biofilik, konsep "Embrace of the Sea" diimplementasikan untuk menciptakan hubungan yang harmonis antara manusia dan lingkungan laut. Pendekatan ini mengintegrasikan elemen-elemen alam ke dalam desain arsitektural, seperti penggunaan material ramah lingkungan, struktur yang meniru bentuk alami, dan pengoptimalan aliran udara serta cahaya alami. Fasilitas ini mencakup area edukasi, penelitian, dan rehabilitasi terumbu karang yang dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman immersive dan meningkatkan kesadaran serta partisipasi masyarakat dalam konservasi laut. Hasil dari perancangan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model yang berkelanjutan bagi pengelolaan sumber daya laut dan peningkatan kualitas lingkungan pesisir di wilayah Probolinggo.
