Abstract

Fasilitas pelayanan hewan peliharaan kucing dan anjing merupakan suatu wadah yang menyediakan berbagai macam yang berkaitan dengan hewan peliharaan tersebut dari mulai kesehatan, perawatan, pelatihan hingga perlengkapan kebutuhan hewan tersebut. Berbagai fasilitas pelayanan hewan peliharaan dari kebutuhan makro hingga mikro, namun di kota Surabaya hanya beberapa fasilitas saja yang tersedia seperti pet shop, klinik dan grooming, dan juga fasilitas tersebut tidak berada di satu lokasi. Selain itu di kota Surabaya sendiri masih sedikit bangunan atau tempat fasilitas pelayanan hewan peliharaan, Kasus penyakit hewan peliharaan tersebut juga kini semakin banyak jumlah dan jenisnya, baik yang dapat menular maupun tidak. Penerapan desain biofilik merupakan desain arsitektural yang berupaya meningkatkan kesehatan, kebugaran, dan kesejahteraan manusia dengan meningkatkan produktivitas dan menjaga fungsi serta ketahanan sistem alam dari waktu ke waktu. Mengenai permasalahan tersebut maka penulis menerapkan desain biofilik terhadap interior fasilitas pelayanan hewan peliharaan kucing dan anjing dengan fasilitas yang lengkap sehingga dapat mewadahi segala kegiatan hewan peliharaan tersebut dalam satu lokasi. Diharapkan dengan adanya ide dan gagasan penulis semoga fasilitas pelayanan hewan peliharaan kucing dan anjing ini dapat berguna dan bermanfaat bagi hewan, pemilik hewan dan perawat hewan di kota Surabaya.
