Abstract

Sistem pentanahan pada Rumah Sakit diperlukan untuk mengatasi terjadinya tegangan sentuh dan tegangan baik pada transformator maupun benda konduktor lain yang melekat padanya. Batas maksimal tegangan sentuh yang masih dianggap belum membahayakan manusia sebesar 50 volt (PUIL 2000). Salah satu terjadinya tegangan sentuh karena faktor sistem pentanahan yang tidak memenuhi syarat dan adanya aliran arus gangguan hubung singkat pada rangkaian tertutup. Kondisi ini berbahaya bagi manusia yang menyentuhnya dan dapat menyebabkan kematian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa sistem pentanahan pada rumah sakit umum daerah haji jawa timur untuk mengetahui sistem pentanahan tersebut aman bagi manusia, dan juga menganalisa tegangan sentuh dan tegangan langkah. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengukuran pentanahan di beberapa titik rumah sakit dan penghitungan tegangan sentuh dan tegangan langkahnya. Hasil pengukuran tahanan pentanahan di beberapa titik pada Rumah Sakit Haji Jawa Timur menunjukkan rata rata besar tahanan pentanahannya yaitu 0,72 ohm dan rata-rata tegangan sentuh untuk berat badan maksimal 50 kg sebesar 116,066 Volt dan untuk berat maksimal 70 kg sebesar 222,112 volt, selanjutnya rata-rata tegangan langkahnya untuk berat badan maksimal 50 kg sebesar 164,706 volt dan pada tegangan langkah untuk manusia dengan berat badan 70 Kg didapat hasil rata-rata 222,956 volt, hasil dari tegangan sentuh dan tegangan langkah tersebut sudah dapat dinamakan aman, karena tidak mencapai nilai standart maksimal yang berdasarkan IEEE Std 80-2013 untuk lama gangguan sebesar 0,5 detik.
