Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between psychological capital and subjective well-being in TNI-AL married couples who undergo long distance marriage due to duty. The research conducted used quantitative to achieve the research objectives. The population of this study is a married couple of TNI-AL who are / have undergone long distance marriage who live in a TNI-AL housing complex with an infinite population or infinite population. The participants of this study amounted to 97 people. The research data instrument used is the psychological capital scale and the subjective well-being scale. Then the data analysis test used uses non�parametric with the technique used is the spearman's rho method. The results of data analysis obtained a correlation value of 0.633 with a significance of p = 0.000 (p> 0.05). This means that psychological capital has a significant positive relationship with subjective well-being so that the hypothesis is accepted. That is, the higher the psychological capital, the higher the subjective well-being obtained. Vice versa, if psychological capital is low, then subjective well-being in couples is also low.
