Abstract

The phenomenon of sexual harassment is increasingly occurring in this country. This condition causes various negative impacts for survivors of sexual harassment. One of the impacts is low psychological well-being in survivors of sexual harassment. Survivors of sexual harassment must have high psychological well-being or PWB to be able to face the various impacts of sexual harassment. Group therapy is an effective intervention to help survivors of sexual harassment increase their PWB. This study aims to test the effectiveness of group therapy to increase the PWB of sexual harassment survivors in terms of AQ type. This research involved 12 survivors of sexual harassment who were divided into two, namely 6 people in the control group and 6 other people in the experimental group. Group determination was carried out using proportional random sampling. This research design is true experiment pretest posttest control group design model. The experiment results prove that group therapy is effective and has a big influence on increasing the PWB of sexual abuse survivors in early adulthood. Another finding from this research is that there are differences in PWB in terms of AQ type. The order of the most influential AQ types is climbers, then campers and in the last position there are quitters.
