Abstract
This research aims to determine the relationship between self-control and compliance with regulations in Islamic boarding schools. The subjects of this research were 12th grade students at SMA Darul Ulum 1 Unggulan BPPT Jombang, living in the dormitory, and aged 16-18 years. The class 12 population at SMA Darul Ulum 1 Peterongan BPPT Jombang is 403 students who meet the criteria. Determining the sample results for this research uses the Krejcie table. The sample obtained was 196 students from 403 populations. Researchers use the SPSS 26.0 for Windows program on the basis that if the significance value is (p<0.05), the conclusion is that there is a significant positive relationship between the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y), and vice versa. The results of the Spearman Rho correlation test between self-control variables and compliance obtained a significance of 0.000 (P<0.05). This means that there is a very significant positive relationship between the self-control variable and compliance with regulations in Islamic boarding schools. The effective contribution in this research was 0.251. This means that self-control has a 25.1% influence on compliance.
