Abstract

This research is a correlational quantitative research that seeks to see the relationship between the Big-Five Personality Traits (BFPT) and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) with Work-Life Balance (WLB) as a mediator. The respondents of this research were 236 employees in Surabaya. The analysis techniques used are multiple regression analysis, Pearson product moment, Spearman's rho, and mediation analysis. The research results show that BFPT has a relationship with OCB with a contribution of 14.2%. There are two dimensions of BFPT, namely Extraversion and Openness to Experience, which have a positive relationship with OCB. BFPT and all its dimensions have a positive relationship with WLB. The relationship between WLB and OCB found no significance. The mediation test showed that WLB was able to partially mediate the relationship between BFPT and OCB, whereas in the BFPT dimensional analysis, WLB was able to mediate only the Emotional Stability dimension with OCB which had full mediation value. This research can be a basis for forming company regulations to achieve better levels of employee OCB.
