Abstract

Motivasi berprestasi merupakan hal yang penting bagi siswa Sekolah Dasar namun hal ini sejalan dengan aspirasi dan tujuan individualnya. Fase Sekolah Dasar merupakan langkah pendidikan awal yang ditempuh siswa sebagai jalan menuju masa depan. Maka dari itu apabila tingkat motivasi belajar siswa sekolah dasar tinggi akan berpengaruh pada pencapaian hasil belajarnya. Motivasi berprestasi sebagai daya dorong yang memungkinkan seseorang berhasil mencapai apa yang diidamkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan motivasi berprestasi ditinjau dari faktor demografi dan status pernikahan orang tua siswa sekolah dasar di kota Surabaya . Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis komparatif. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Non probability sampling dengan jenis Purposive Sampling. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 146 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diuji menggunakan Uji T- test (independent sample t-test) dan One Way Anova (analysis of varians), menunjukan bahwa ada perbedaan rata-rata antara motivasi berprestasi siswa.
