Abstract

Konformitas adalah usaha individu untuk merubah sikap dan perilakunya dengan tujuan untuk menyesuaikan kelompoknya. Perilaku Konsumtif suatu tindakan pembelian yang dilakukan secara berlebih pada suatu produk barang ataupun jasa tanpa mempertimbangkan manfaatnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konformitas dengan perilaku konsumtif pembelian fashion pada mahasiswa pengguna tiktok. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasonal. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunkan metode accidental sampling dan sebanyak 181 mahasiswa pengguna tiktok di Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya yang dijadikan sampel. Pengumpuan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan google from, dengan skala konformitas dan skala perilaku konsumtif. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan memperoleh hasil r = 0,176 dengan signifikasi 0,018 (p<0,05) Artinya hipotesis dalam penelitian ini yang berasumsi ada hubungan positif antara konformitas dengan perilaku konsumtif pembelian fashion pada mahasiswa pengguna tiktok diterima. Artinya semakin tinggi konformitas yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa, maka semakin tinggi pula perilaku konsumtifnya.
