Abstract

The results of the research show that human resource development has a positive influence of employee performance at the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Bina Marga Provinsi Jawa Timur which can be proven by a regression coefficient value of 0,832 meaning that if human resource development (X) increases by 1% employee performance (Y) at the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Bina Marga Provinsi Jawa Timur will also experience an increase. Based on the coefficient of determination value, a value of 0,508 is obtained, which menas that human resource development has an influence of employee performance of 50,8%. Meanwhile, the level of closeness beetwen hese two variables is at a correlation coefficient of 0,713 which is at a strong level of correlation.
