Abstract
Coffee roaster machine is a machine that is needed today for processing coffee ingredients. In making coffee-based drinks, a roasting machine is needed to cook coffee from raw materials to mature materials with a level of maturity that has been determined by the roaster. In ancient times roasting machines used humans as the process and firewood as the heating material. In line with that, these innovations aim to overcome the problem of roasting weaknesses in the traditional way. With the rapid development of technology, everything has become easy and practical. In order for coffee to be consumed, it must be processed first. The research method of the roasting machine tool with a lamp heater by knowing the effect on the rotation of the roasting tube and the different heating temperatures in the outer space on the tube and in the tube. So that you can get the right time and get the desired level of maturity. In the process of roasting coffee, researchers found that the faster the rotation of the roasting tube, the longer the roasting process will take, the variations used by researchers were speeds of 10, 20, 30 RPM and temperatures of 150 ° C, 180 ° C, 200 ° C. and a roasting tube with a capacity of 250gr. In the roasting process, the most efficient time is at a rotation speed of 10 RPM and a temperature of 200 ° C, with a time of 26 minutes and experiencing a shrinkage of 36.7 grams of coffee beans with a water content level of 1.17%. And there is a displacement rate of 2357.5W. In the roasting process, the most shrinkage is at the roasting rotation speed, namely, 30 RPM at a temperature of 200 ° C, namely 62.7 grams with a water content level of 1.33% roasting time of 37 minutes, and the heat transfer rate that occurs is 1375.9W.
