Abstract

UD. Surya Sejati was founded in 2008 and is located on Jl. Jepara Gg. 5, Krembangan District, Surabaya City. This factory focuses on producing various types of furniture, such as stacking chair seats, stacking chair backs, stacking chair back covers, curved chair seats, curved chair backs, and lecture table bases. In its operation, this factory involves the work of five operators. The production of lecture table mats made in this factory has a production capacity of 120 pcs/day. The problem that arises in the production process of college table bases using a manual router machine is the potential for delays in the process which could hinder the smoothing stage. Additionally, manual router operators may experience impacts such as fatigue and minor injuries due to prolonged use, which can reduce operational efficiency. One idea that could be an alternative solution is to make a special table for the router machine. This solution led to the development of specialized tables aimed at directing operator tasks and increasing efficiency in the production process. In addition, a special table for router machines is intended to reduce the risk of fatigue and hand injuries that may be experienced by operators when using router machines for long periods of time, with the aim of allowing operators to operate them optimally.
