Abstract

Hydroponics is a way of cultivating plants without soil, by using water. One thing that can be emphasized in hydroponics is meeting the nutritional needs of a plant. Hydroponic plants also don't need a lot of water, they don't need to be watered like plants grown in soil. Hydroponic planting techniques are environmentally friendly farming techniques. Vegetables grown using hydroponics are healthier and safer to consume. Farming using hydroponics does not require a large area of land, has clean and safe results, the resulting plants grow relatively quickly. This research aims to reduce problems with hydropnic plants, namely excess or lack of nutrients and water pH that is too high or low. So an IoT-based hydroponic monitoring system was designed to monitor hydroponic plants. The plant used for research is lettuce (Lactuca Sativa L)
