Abstract

This research is based on the rapid development of technology and television stations competing with each other to display interesting programs. The data collection method used in this research was using a questionnaire. The aim of this research was to determine the influence of broadcast quality and packaging of the Pojok Kampung JTV Surabaya program on viewing satisfaction of communication science students at the University of 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach. The respondents in this research were communication science students at the University of 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya who watched Pojok Kampung. The use of data analysis methods in research uses multiple linear regression. The conclusions obtained show that the quality of broadcast programs and packaging influences viewing satisfaction. The better the quality of broadcasting and packaging of the Pojok Kampung JTV Surabaya program, the greater the viewing satisfaction of communication science students at the University of 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. The results of the discussion show that there is a partial or simultaneous influence between broadcast quality and program packaging on viewing satisfaction.
