Abstract
UD Darmaji is a trading business located in Waru Sidoarjo which produces flip-flops. Based on the existing demand, the company cannot meet the existing demand so additional labor or overtime is needed to meet the volume of demand. So far, to overcome this problem, UD.Darmaji usually subcontracts to other companies in order to meet demand, this of course will increase costs for the company. The problem to be solved is to arrange the workforce so that it can meet the demand, with minimal costs and how to plan production with the aim of knowing the optimal workforce so that demand can be met and knowing how to plan production so that labor costs can be optimized. The method used is aggregate production planning, transportation method which produces 2 alternatives, namely where alternative 1 produces 12 workers with regular time + overtime with a total monthly cost of IDR 26,879,712 while alternative 2 produces 13 workers with regular time with a total cost per month, which is IDR 26,536,848/month and the hourly production planning produces 20.64 pairs of sandals.
