Abstract

The Surabaya area has one of the large type A terminals, namely the Purabaya terminal which is located on Jalan Letjen Soetoyo KM Surabaya 13 (Bungurasih Terminal Complex) Waru Sidoarjo. Purabaya Terminal occupies an area of 12 ha and has a 24 hour operating time. This terminal has a total of 220 operational officers consisting of 95 civil servants, 2 casual daily workers, 123 contract workers. Buses operating at Purabaya Terminal have a volume of ± 1,150 buses per day and a passenger volume of ± 34,900 passengers per day. The problem that is often encountered at the Purabaya Terminal is that many Inter-City Within Province (AKDP) buses pick up and drop off passengers incorrectly, passengers should board the bus at the departure gate, but many passengers are found to be picked up at the arrival gate or at the terminal exit. The aim of this research is to determine the level of passenger satisfaction with performance and operations at the Purabaya terminal using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The results of this research show that there are several indicators that do not meet passenger satisfaction in the Reliability variable -0.06 in questions (X1.2) and -0.07 in questions (X1.4), the Responsiveness variable - 0.11 on question (X2.3), variable Assurance -0.01 on question (X4.4) and -0.13 on question (X4.5), variable Empathy -0.02 on question (X5.2).
