Abstract

Reinforcing steel material is one of the components that takes the most money and time, and reinforcing steel material is also one of the components that leaves quite a lot of waste. Understanding the shape of iron and proper cutting is very important to avoid losses that occur due to incorrect management and Also cutting will result in one of the structural components having the highest level of waste. To minimize the remaining reinforcing steel material, in this article the author is interested in researching the problem of waste material in the implementation of the Grand Salt Village Sarirogo-Sidoarjo Housing Project. The Bar Bending Schedule is used to calculate the need for reinforcing steel based on shop drawings and calculate (%) material waste from the size of the reinforcement and work items. The need for reinforcing steel for the BBS method is ® 6 amounting to 0.787 tonnes, Ở 8 amounting to 0.986 tonnes, ® 12 iron amounting to 9.466 tonnes. The calculation of total waste (%) of reinforcing steel is ® 6 of 8% with a weight of 0.064 tons, Ở 8 of 13% with a weight of 0.152 tons, iron ® 12 of 7% with a weight of 0.768 tons. The comparison of waste (%) of reinforcing steel between work items is footplate of 8% with a total weight of 0.171 tonnes, sloof of 19% with a total weight of 0.408 tonnes, Strous of 18% with a total weight of 0.405 tonnes. Therefore, calculating steel reinforcement using the Bar Bending Schedule method can minimize material waste.
