Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is a matter of utmost importance that must be considered in carrying out any job. Regardless of the type of work being undertaken, OHS always takes precedence. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the level of implementation of OHS and analyze the factors influencing the level of awareness and compliance of workers towards OHS on the Double-Track Railway Construction Project in Southern Cross Java Mojokerto – Sepanjang (Package 9). This research took place in September 2023. The number of research samples is 20 respondents, namely staff members on the project. The data tests used in this study are validation tests, reliability tests, and normality tests using SPSS V.25. Subsequently, the valid data from these tests were subjected to hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression and determination methods. The research results indicate that the level of occupational safety and health (K3) implementation in the Double-Track Railway Construction Project of South Java Southern Line from Mojokerto to Sepanjang (Package 9) is positive and significant, with an implementation rate of 79%. In this study, the most influencing factor on the awareness and compliance level of workers towards K3 in the mentioned project is the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The t-test analysis reveals that the utilization of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) has a very high percentage, specifically 83%.
