Abstract
Digital transformation has become the main driving force in the era of globalization and information technology that continues to develop rapidly. Companies and organizations from various sectors are competing to adopt digital technology and innovation to optimize efficiency, increase productivity and create better services for consumers. In the midst of increasingly fierce competition, the banking sector is one industry that must adapt quickly in order to remain relevant and competitive in the future. One banking institution that has taken strategic stepsin facing the challenges of digital transformation is PT Bank Central Asia (BCA). As one of the leading banks in Indonesia, BCA realizes how important it is to respond to changes in business paradigms and continuously evolving consumer needs. Therefore, this company has intensified efforts to carry out digital transformation which aims to create future banking services that are more efficient, innovative and easier to access for its customers. However, technological advances also bring risks, especially in the increase in cyber crimes such as fraud. banking. To overcome this, biometric technology emerged as a solution, utilizing an individual's unique physiological identity for the security of banking transactions. This research examines legal protection for the use of biometric technology in banking transactions, with a focus on legal and regulatory aspects that support customer security.
