Abstract
A construction project is an activity where the results of the work are influenced by labor productivity. Activities in construction projects are interconnected, so that if one activity is hampered it will affect other activities in the field. The impacts or losses that will arise if a project experiences delays range from increasing project costs to increasing project implementation time. To avoid delays in a project, here researchers use the crashing method with an alternative, namely additional workforce. With this method the acceleration time will be obtained. This research aims to speed up the completion time of a project where the project will be accelerated from the time determined by the project itself. However, the costs that will be incurred will be slightly greater than normal costs. This research will be carried out on the Naibonat – Nunkurus Road Improvement project, Kupang Regency.. From the data obtained after analysis, the project can be accelerated by 43 working days so that the project duration from originally 84 working days becomes 41 working days. So the project cost has increased from IDR 3,537,764,000 to IDR 3.730.446.000. From this research, it can be concluded that an acceleration system with added workforce can be used as an alternative choice for projects that experience delays, because by implementing an acceleration system with added workforce the duration is faster.
