Abstract

Infrastructure development is an activity carried out by the government, the community and the private sector which takes place continuously with the aim of improving the welfare of the people. Based on the Regional Regulation of Sampang Regency concerning the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan of Sampang Regency for 2019-2024, in the framework of implementing local governments, regional development planning is prepared as a unit in the national development planning system. The purpose of this writing is to determine the implementation of road infrastructure development policies in Sampang Regency. This research method is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The location needed in the research is in Sampang Regency. The data sources in this study used are primary data sources and secondary data. The results of this study show that the Policy Standards/Measures and Objectives have been implemented in accordance with laws and regulations regarding road construction guidelines and regional financial management guidelines. In terms of resources, having human resources that support quality and quantity. Attitudes / Tendencies of Executors have positive values with loyal, swift, proud in carrying out duties and high fighting spirit. Communication carried out by the PUPR Office both between agencies, and internally with implementers utilizes written communication media (official scripts) and is strengthened by supporting communication tools. And the value of organizational culture plays an important role in improving better organizational performance. From a political aspect, the planned budget location in the road infrastructure project in Sampang Regency is still intervened by interests.
