Abstract
PT. CNI is a building materials manufacturing company that carries out production processes in Mojokerto Regency. One of the products produced by PT. CNI is lightweight brick. Silica sand, gypsum, cement, lime and aluminum paste are the raw materials used to make lightweight bricks. The need for lightweight bricks has increased significantly every year, this is reflected in the 2020 National SocioEconomic Survey (Susenas) data, there are 12.75 million housing units that have not been built in Indonesia and it is estimated that this will continue to increase by 700,000-800,000 units every year. This research aims to plan to increase the production capacity of lightweight bricks from initially 679.4m per day to 794. 7m3 per day by designing facilities at PT.CNI. To determine production capacity, working time is measured using the Stopwatch Time Study method. The results of this measurement are the cycle time for each work floor. Maximum production capacity is obtained from the calculation of employee working hours divided by cycle time. To increase production capacity to 794.7m' per day, improvements were made to the work floor with the lowest capacity, namely: Packing, Curring, Autoclave, Cutting Machine Train.
