Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan hubungan yang mungkin ada antara dukungan sosial yang diterima oleh individu dan motivasi internal yang mendorong mereka untuk terlibat dalam aktivitas perjudian online. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana interaksi sosial, baik dari lingkungan keluarga, teman, maupun lingkungan sosial lainnya, dapat mempengaruhi dan memoderasi motivasi internal seseorang dalam bermain judi secara online. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei kepada komunitas JUDOL yang terlibat dalam perjudian online. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang memuat pernyataan tentang tingkat dukungan sosial yang dirasakan dan faktor-faktor motivasi internal yang mungkin mendorong individu untuk terlibat dalam aktivitas perjudian online. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang tidak signifikan antara tingkat dukungan sosial yang diterima dan motivasi internal dalam bermain judi online. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa dukungan sosial yang kuat dapat mempengaruhi motivasi internal seseorang dalam aktivitas perjudian online. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini juga menyoroti peran penting lingkungan sosial dalam membentuk perilaku perjudian.
