Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) untuk meningkatkan psychological well-being (PWB) pada remaja yang mengalami broken home serta membuktikan apakah terdapat perbedaan peningkatan psychological well-being antara remaja perempuan dan laki-laki. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif model eksperimen dengan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel berjumlah 8 subjek terdiri dari 4 laki-laki dan 4 perempuan. Sampel dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria remaja yang memiliki skor psychological well-being pada kategori rendah dan sangat rendah. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Skala Psychological Well-being. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistika non-parametrik dengan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks dan uji Mann-whitney U Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis pertama dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks diperoleh nilai Z sebesar -2.524 dengan nilai signifikan 0.012 (p<0.05). Artinya, terdapat perbedaan hasil pretest dan posttest antara sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa solution focused brief therapy efektif dalam meningkatkan psychological well-being remaja yang mengalami broken home. Hipotesis kedua dengan menggunakan uji Mann-whitney U Test diperoleh nilai signifikan 0.027 (p<0.05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan peningkatan psychological well-being pada subjek dengan jenis kelamin laki-laki dan perempuan, setelah diberikan intervensi SFBT.
