Abstract

In this era, technology has a huge impact on society and in our daily lives. Such as smartphone devices with internet connectivity allow people to easily access various types of services anytime and anywhere. And one of the technological developments that is very popular among young and old people, namely mobile-based applications, mobile-based applications are very loved by the community because they can help business processes more efficiently in an organization. One of the most important types of mobile applications for today's users is mobile banking. Using such an application, users can make transactions through mobile banking anytime and anywhere. Based on these problems, a redesign is needed, which can provide a new look for customers and produce a user-friendly design. Where the current user interface is very important for a company that has a mobile banking application. This research will use the User Centered Design (UCD) method in which there are 4 stages, namely Understand Context of Use, Specify User Requirements, Design Solutions, Evaluation Against Requirements. Therefore the researcher conducted a study entitled "ANALYSIS AND REDESIGN OF UI/UX DESIGN IN THE MOBILE BANKING APPLICATION OF BANK JATIM USING THE UCER CENTERED DESIGN METHOD". The result of this research is to make a redesign or what is often called the Redesign of Bank Jatim's mobile banking application called JConnect. Which will display an attractive UI display and can improve the quality of Bank Jatim Mobile Banking. In the redesign, the design has passed the usability testing stage on 26 respondents and resulted in a score of 86 which is included in "Acceptable" and is included in the Excellent category, where from a usability point of view the redesign can be accepted by customers and is feasible.
