Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas suatu produk, untuk menerapkan sistem pengendalian kualitas, dan untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab produk cacat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quota sampling dengan pengambilan sampel secara acak sebanyak 1000 kilogram kerupuk udang jenis ekspor dalam waktu 1 jam dalam sehari dan nantinya akan diolah dengan menggunakan peta kendali P. Kategori produk cacat digolongkan dalam 4 kategori yaitu bentuk bleber, lubang, benda asing, dan setengah matang. Jumlah dari keempat produk cacat dalam waktu 30 hari berjumlah 300 kilogram kerupuk udang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menggunakan alat analisis Statistical Quality Control (SQC) yang terhitung dalam waktu 30 hari. Hasil check sheet menunjukkan banyaknya produk kerupuk yang cacat berjumlah 300 kilogram kerupuk udang, Analisa Garis Pusat (CL) 0,01, hasil perhitungan (UCL) yaitu 0,019, dan untuk hasil perhitungan (LCL) yaitu 0,001.
