Abstract

This study aims to prove the effect of labour, raw materials, and working hours on the income of smoked fish processing businesses in Penatarsewu Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency. This research method uses quantitative methods with primary data, the data used is a questionnaire obtained from respondents of smoked fish processing entrepreneurs in Penatarsewu Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency. The data analysis tool in this study is the multiple linear regression method. The results of this study prove that partially or simultaneously there is a significant influence between raw materials and working hours on income, while the labour variable has no significant effect on the income of smoked fish processing businesses in Penatarsewu Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency. Vaiabel labour (X1), raw materials (X2), and working hours (X3) with a significant value, for the simultaneous influence of labour, raw materials, and working hours on income (Y) with a calculated F value of 44,235 with a significance level of 0,000. With a significance value smaller than 0.000, namely 0.000 <0.05, H_0 is rejected and H_a is accepted, which means that the independent variables of raw materials (X2) and working hours (X3) together have a significant effect on the dependent variable income (Y), While the labour variable (X1) has an insignificant effect on the income of smoked fish processing businesses in Penatarsewu Village, Tanggulangin District, Sidoarjo Regency. With this it can be concluded that the hypothesis of raw materials and working hours is accepted.
