Abstract

PT Akhas Siwalan Abadi is a company engaged in outsourcing. In some companies, the employee recruitment process still uses Microsoft Excel to store data from applicants, from the initial recruitment to the stage of determining prospective employees. So far, the employee recruitment process at PT. Akhas Siwalan Abadi is still not subjective which still takes quite a long time to determine the final result of hiring employees according to the criteria set by the company. This is because there is no systematic standard method for assessing the eligibility of applicants. Decision support system application for hiring new employees built using theSimple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. This method was chosen because it can determine the weight value for each attribute, then it is followed by a ranking processthat will select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case the alternative in question is the one entitled to be accepted as a new employee based on the specified criteria.
