Abstract

Pusat energi listrik umumnya terhubung ke saluran transmisi udara, yang rentan terhadap gangguan dari sistem eksternal seperti petir. Petir merupakan bahaya bagi bagian-bagian pembangkit listrik. Oleh karena itu, perlindungan terhadap sambaran petir sangat penting agar komponen yang ada di dalam pusat tenaga listrik tidak mengalami kerusakan saat terjadi. baut. Studi ini menjelaskan proteksi daya trafo (60 MVA) di Gardu Induk Buduran untuk melindungi trafo dari tegangan lebih akibat petir. Spesifikasi arester surja tegangan tinggi yang dipasang pada sisi tegangan tinggi transformator II, III, IV dan VI, VI dari Gardu induk Buduran adalah tegangan pengenal 132kV dan arus luahan 5,06kA untuk memenuhi persyaratan sistem. Jarak maksimum yang diperbolehkan antara arester surja dan keluaran trafo adalah 28,5 meter. Walaupun jarak medan 3,6 dan 8 meter, tegangan ke trafo adalah 480 kV, namun masih lebih rendah dari nilai isolasi dasar trafo, sehingga proteksi trafo terhadap transmisi petir baik
