Abstract

The city of Surabaya has very high population mobility and economic activity. The city of Surabaya provides various public facilities in the form of UKM centers that can be used by the community, for example: Merr UKM centers, Siola UKM centers, ITC Mall UKM centers, and others. The purpose of this study is to determine the income and benefits of batik consumer demand in the city of Surabaya. This type of research uses qualitative research methods, the informants in this study amounted to 6 respondents. Data collection uses primary data through a questionnaire method. Data analysis used is the analysis of costs, income, R/C Ratio and ROI (Return On Investment) using Microsoft excel. Based on data analysis, it shows that income, costs and profits together have a significant effect on R/C and ROI for batik entrepreneurs in the city of Surabaya. And the length of time the business has been running also affects the results of R/C and ROI calculations for batik entrepreneurs in the Merr UKM center, Sukolilo District, Surabaya City.
