Abstract

Home Industry Achmad Rochman is a company engaged in the manufacture skullcaps, in the production of skullcaps there are 3 types namely AC caps, Standard Songkok and Susun, one of the songkok brands is Achmad Rochman. However, Home Industry Achmad Rochman production target has not met demand every month because the company does not have a standard time, so that it can plan the right operator when demand is high. Work with a make to order system and requests are always changing. The industry does not have a large number of safety stocks due to different sizes. The results of using the Work Sampling method are that the standard time for the Standard skullcap is 1099.33 seconds or 18.32 minutes, the AC skullcap is 1189.13 seconds or 19.82 minutes and the Stacking skullcap is 1129.29 seconds or 18.82 minutes. Based on the cycle time in the standard skullcap production process, namely 480 seconds, AC skullcap 480 seconds and stacking skullcap 472.13 seconds. Then using the Work Load Analysis (WLA) method resulted in optimizing the workforce and adding 2 workers at a cost of Rp. 1,800,000 per day and if overtime it costs Rp. 5,514,104 per day for sum sewing workers.
