Abstract

The KKN film in the Dancer Village (Uncut) (2022) implies a representation of the Mysticism Culture that we can usually find in Javanese Culture (Kejawen), where this Culture preserves a Culture of Mysticism in some of its activities. Definition of Mysticism according to. Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary, defines "mysticism" with: a belief or experience of the mystical. The teaching or belief that knowledge about the essence of God can be obtained through life or spiritual understanding that is free from the influence of reason and the five senses. In this study, researchers were able to find representations of mysticism related to Kejawen culture and myths about the occult according to the Semiotic Theory developed by Roland Barthes. The research method that researchers use is qualitative using semiotic analysis developed by Roland Barthes which displays denotation signs, connotations and myths of the site itself. And also using data sources through KKN film observations in the Dancer Village through screenshots of scenes or perscenes which show symbols of mysticism that exist from the research. From the results of this analysis, it was found that there were four myths of mysticism contained in the film "KKN in the Dancer Village", namely offerings which are displayed by presenting offerings at several points in the village for offerings, the myth of witchcraft which is shown by the discharge of unusual objects from a person's body, the myth Slaughtering cemani chicken shown by greatgrandmother slaughtering cemani chicken as an offering for Genderuwo so he won't disturb Nur anymore. The myth of mysticism that many writers find is mysticism which displays more of the existence of supernatural beings.
