Abstract

YouTube is a social media where one can easily access videos. But there are many pros and cons because it has the potential to have a negative effect. But YouTube also offers educational programs such as Jejak si Bald, which are attractively packaged and filled with educational messages. The purpose of this study is to find out the educational messages on the content of Jejak Sigundul Eposide Manisan Ampo. In this study using a type of qualitative research with Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis method, the triadic meaning semiotic model consisting of Sign, Object and interpretant. The data collection technique of this research is observation and documentation. The results of the study show that the educational message sign in the video Jejak sigundul episode Manisan ampo is in the form of a symbol. namely movement, dialogue, and attitude. The object of the educational message is Javanese, responsibility, self-confidence, and studying seriously. The interpretation of the message of Education is that there are educational values including cultural, moral and social values. The message of cultural values is a sense of pride in using the Javanese language. The message of moral values is the attitude of responsibility, courage, selfconfidence, earnestness and effort.
