Abstract

Mahasiswa aktivis organisasi kemahasiswaan memiliki perubahan tanggung jawab yang harus dijalani dan membuat komitmen baru. Tuntutan ini bisa berasal dari dalam maupun luar diri. Kepribadian hardiness merupakan bagian dari kepribadian yang tangguh dalam keadaan apapun bahkan dalam situasi buruk yang perlu dimiliki dan dilatih. Penelitian ini melibatkan 306 orang berusia 18-25 tahun menggunakan teknik incidental sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah skala konsep diri dan skala kepribadian hardiness. Berdasarkan hasil uji prasyarat pada uji normalitas data variabel kepribadian hardiness dinyatakan berdistribusi normal (0,078>0,05) dan data variabel konsep diri tidak bedistribusi normal (0,000<0,05). Uji linearitas data dinyatakan tidak linear (0,012<0,05) sehingga peneliti akan melakukan analisis data menggunakan Spearman’s rank correlation. Koefisien korelasi antara konsep diri dan kepribadian hardiness sebesar 0,894 (p=0,000), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan sangat signifikan antara konsep diri dengan kepribadian hardiness pada mahasiswa aktivis organisasi kemahasiswaan di Surabaya.
