Abstract
Discourse analysis is a means to provide an explanation of a text that is being studied by researchers who have certain objectives. Van Dijk's model of discourse analysis on @tribunkidul Instagram posts containing the Sleman relay event aims to find out the discourse formed and the construction that occurs in society by looking at the dimensions of text, social cognition, and social context. The method used in this research is a constructionist method with qualitative data analysis guided by 3 elements in Van Dijk's discourse analysis model. The data analysis technique used is data reduction (reading, summarizing, sorting, focusing on important things), then presenting data and drawing conclusions from the discourse analysis on the 1st and 2nd content data containing the Sleman relay event in the form of #StopEstafet #Puasaaway. The results showed that the discourse formed in the form of a narrative accentuates the flow of events that actually occurred, seen from the text structure, social cognition and social context presented in the two posts, showing that bonek in this event was also a victim and the echo of the #StopEstafet #puasaaway movement as a form of bonek's commitment to evaluation and selfintrospection so that this incident does not happen again and harms many parties.
