Abstract

This study was to find out how social support, self-compassion, and forgiveness affect young adults who have been bullied. Correlational methods are used in this type of quantitative research. This study included 126 people who had been bullied while they were in elementary, middle, or high school and in the age between 19 to 25. Using a Likert scale, Google form questionnaires were distributed via social media in this study. This study employs a Bayesian method for data analysis. There is a nonsignificant relationship between social support and forgiveness so that social support cannot be a significant predictor of forgiveness which shows a significant value of BF10 0,005 (BF10 < 1,00). There is a very significant relationship between Self-Compassion and Forgiveness so that Self-Compassion can be a very significant predictor for Forgiveness with a low classification which shows a significant value of BF10 1,00 (BF10 = 1,00). This means that the higher the Self-Compassion, the higher the Forgiveness, conversely, the lower the Self-Compassion, the lower the Forgiveness. People who have good self-compassion are able to deal with unpleasant situations with forgiveness and think logically to solve problems. There is a non-significant relationship between social support and Self-Compassion with forgiveness so that social support and forgiveness simultaneously cannot be a significant predictor of forgiveness which shows a significant value of BF10 0,231 (BF10 < 1,00).
