Abstract
UD. Gadjah Delta is UD. PT. Gadjah Delta is a company engaged in the manufacture of kitchen utensils. The company's location is in RT. 08 RW 02, Kelurahan Kebakalan, Porong District, Sidoarjo. UD. Gadjah Delta produces superior products, namely rantang soto with a diameter of 16 cm with a production capacity of 1,500 pcs per day. In the production process of punching and cutting the end of the soto bed handle, the company has 2 manual drive machines to help the operator complete the job. The results of the production process on both machines produce a fairly high reject. From these circumstances, the main observations of the study are determined. With the aim of designing tools to increase production capacity, reduce the production cost of rantang soto, and streamline the flow of the rantang soto production process, especially in the process of punching & cutting the end of the rantang soto handle by designing punch & dies tools and anthropometry on the mechanical punch machine holder table. Producing mechanical punch machines supported by new punch & dies tools and ergonomic tables produces output exceeding the old work process of 375 pcs per hour and is able to save production costs, especially soto rantang handles of Rp 77.4 per pcs.
