Abstract
Every business is required to improve the things in it so that it continues to survive and develop. Proper management is needed in every business to develop business performance. The Pentol Raja Gresik UKM is an UMKM that was founded in 2018. Fluctuations cause stock instability so that there is over stock and also lack of stock and indicates a bullwhip effect. Based on the problems that occur, an approach will be taken to solve this fluctuation problem by using four forecasting methods, namely Moving Average, Single Exponential Smoothing, Double Exponential Smoothing, Triple Exponential Smoothing and scheduling using MPS. Based on the research results, the forecasting method used for large pentol products is Triple Exponential Smoothing Multiplicative with α (level) 0.779483, γ (trend) 0.035849 and δ (seasonal) 0.1. The forecasting method used for small bulb products is Triple Exponential Smoothing Multiplicative with α (level) 0.700762, γ (trend) 0.038155 and δ (seasonal) 0.9. The forecasting method used for tofu products is Triple Exponential Smoothing Additive with α (level) 0.839996, γ (trend) 0.019813 and δ (seasonal) 0.1. The results showed that the value of the bullwhip, the value of excess stock and shortage of stock can be reduced.
