Abstract
The development of technology has made it possible to have virtual office services without physical space, which provides advantages for business actors. One of the virtual office service providers in Indonesia is PT. vOffice. Providers and users of virtual office services do not need to meet to make an agreement, and this activity has the potential for breach of contract. The government of DKI Jakarta intends to ban the use of virtual office schemes to avoid tax evasion. Based on this issue, this research aims to identify and explain the legal relationship between parties in the business of renting virtual offices and the legal responsibilities of service providers to tenants for virtual offices. This research uses normative legal research, utilizing statutory and conceptual approaches. The results of this study show that the legal relationship between parties in virtual offices is a private legal relationship between creditor and debtor, and the legal responsibility of service providers is to be liable for breach of contract or unlawful acts resulting in damages.
