Abstract

As time goes by, the use of motorcycles is increasing and motorcycle technology is also growing. From the 2 stroke to 4 stroke era, from the carburetor era to the injection era. The carburetor is an important component in motorized vehicles. The carburetor functions as a balanced mixture of air and fuel into the engine, controlling or adjusting the engine speed. Inside the carburetor there is a hole or pipe called the Venturi, the diameter of the venturi has a big influence on the performance of the combustion engine. The venturi used in this final project research are the standard supra size 16mm, 24mm, and 28mm venturi with variations in engine speed of 4000, 6000 and 8000 rpm using pertalite fuel on the performance of the combustion engine with research data obtained from the ongoing process From the research, power, torque and fuel consumption were obtained with the highest power value on the C3 venturi carburetor 28 with a value of 9.80 Kw with an engine speed of 8000 Rpm. At a high torque value on the C3 venturi 28, namely 9.51 Nm with 8000 rpm engine speed. and the fastest specific fuel consumption value on the venturi C3 venturi 28 variation using a speed of 8000 rpm with a result of 9.89 gr/kw and the most economical fuel consumption on the A1 venturi 16 mm variation using a speed of 4000 rpm with a result of 4.09 (g/( Kw/sec)).
