Abstract

Human relations or social interaction in which there is communication which is one of the important components. The existence of communication is a prerequisite for adaptation. So that the ability of communication skills is needed to carry out selfactualization or to survive in a condition. Interpersonal communication can be called interpersonal/interpersonal communication, which is communication between individuals to exchange ideas, thoughts or information with other individuals. Where it does not separate children with special needs from normal children with special facilities, without distinguishing the conditions of the children with special needs themselves. This study used 2 different schools, namely SMPN 29 and SLB AKW Kumara II, both of which are in Surabaya. In this study using different school backgrounds to examine the patterns they use and make comparisons. In this study, children with special needs were used, which are rarely mentioned by some people. Besides that, researchers are interested in examining communication patterns with various obstacles that occur. So teachers and students with special needs are used in this study. With various obstacles that occur researchers are also interested in the patterns used or produced in the final results.
