Abstract

Roads are crucial infrastructure to support transportation and the mobility of both people and goods. However, roads are also prone to damage caused by various factors such as environmental influence, traffic load, and the age of the road itself. This study aims to assess the condition of road damage and provide alternative road pavement repair options for the Bypass Gempol Pasuruan road section. The method used in this study is the PCI method and the Dirjen Binamarga Standard. The analysis of the road damage assessment using the PCI method resulted in the highest PCI value on route A (Gempol - Pandaan) of 23, which falls under the Very Poor category at STA 1+200 - 1+300. As for route B (Pandaan - Gempol), the highest PCI value is 15, which also falls under the Very Poor category at STA 1+900 - 2+000. The average PCI value for the Bypass Gempol Pasuruan road section at STA 0+000 - 3+000 is 45.11, which falls under the Moderate category. For road repair alternatives, the Dirjen Binamarga Standard method was used, and the analysis showed that out of 60 segments, 25 segments require P4 repair (Crack Filling), 23 segments require P6 repair (Leveling), 10 segments require P2 repair (Spot Asphalt Laying), and 2 segments require P3 repair (Crack Sealing).
