Abstract

Revealing the signs and symbols is a study of semiotics with deep meaning. This study used Roland Barthes Semiotics Theory with qualitative research methods and interpretive aprroaches that took two objects from Surabaya City’s Population and Civil Registry Office Tiktok @swargaloka.sub content. The objects was examined using two order of significations namely Denotation, the true meaning seen in real terms, Connotation, the meaning which is not true or contains a figurative meaning and Myths, the culture that develops in society. There are three myths in each content. The first content titled “Ngerti Ga Sih Cara Buat KTP Digital?” there appears the myth of making Digital E-KTP are easier, Digital E-KTP can be accessed with hold in hand and bridging sentences containing persuasive sentences. In the second content titled “Trauma Virus Kamu Nanya” there appears the myth of KNG applications making it easier for citizens, the employees of Surabaya City’s Population and Civil Registry Office are friendly and, the employees of Surabaya City’s Population and Civil Registry Office is very careful in speaking from the emerging myth, the true meaning of the objects was answered. Keywords: Semiotics, Roland Barthes, Digital E-KTP, Myth. Meungkapkan tanda-tanda serta simbol-simbol merupakan kajian semiotika yang maknanya dalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Semiotika Roland Barthes dengan metode penelitian kualitatif dan pendekatan interpretif yang mengambil 2 objek dari konten tiktok @swargaloka.sub milik Dispendukcapil Kota Surabaya. Objek tersebut diteliti menggunakan 2 tahapan signifikasi yaitu Makna Denotasi yaitu makna sebenarnya yang dilihat secara nyata, Makna Konotasi yaitu makna yang tidak sebenarnya atau mengandung makna kiasan, dan Makna Mitos yaitu budaya yang berkembang di masyarakat. Muncul 3 mitos pada tiap kontennya. Pada konten pertama berjudul “Ngerti Ga Sih Cara Buat KTP Digital” muncul mitos pembuatan E-KTP Digital lebih mudah, KTP Digital dapat diakses dengan gadget di genggaman dan kalimat bridging mengandung kalimat persuasif. Pada konten kedua berjudul “Trauma Virus Kamu Nanya” muncul mitos diantaranya aplikasi KNG memudahkan warga, pegawai Dispendukcapil Kota Surabaya ramah dan pegawai Dispendukcapil berhati-hati dalam berucap. Dari mitos yang muncul tersebut maka terjawab makna pesan yang sebenarnya dari 2 konten tersebut. Kata kunci : Semiotika, Roland Barthes, E-KTP Digital, Mitos.
