Abstract

In planning a building structure the main aspects to consider are strength and efficiency. Buildings must be designed to be strong and economical while still taking into account the applicable regulations. In this study, a comparison of the SRPM earthquake retaining structure and the SRPM Dual System with shear walls will be carried out. Both structures are planned with IO (Immadiate Occupancy) performance levels with a ratio of volume of concrete and reinforcement to determine their efficiency. The regulations used in this study are SNI 2847-2019 concerning structural concrete requirements for buildings, SNI 1726-2019 concerning procedures for planning earthquake-resistant structures for buildings, and SNI 1727-2020 concerning minimum loads for building designs. In this study using ETABS 20 software in the structural modeling process. The structure performance level analysis uses the pushover analysis method based on FEMA 440. The results of the analysis in this study show that the maximum drift story value of the SRPM structure in the X direction is 55.655 and the Y direction is 61.171, while for the Dual System structure the X direction is 42.191 and the Y direction is 44.495. The results of the analysis of the performance level of the structure using the pushover analysis method based on FEMA 440 of the SRPM and Dual System structures can be categorized under IO (Immadiate Occupancy) conditions. For efficiency comparison results where the SRPM structure has a reinforcement weight of 265,939.40 kg and a concrete volume of 1643.4 m3 , while the Dual Site structure has a reinforcement weight of 214,136.78 kg and a concrete volume of 1300.6 m3 . From the weight of the reinforcement and the volume of concrete the double system structure is more efficient. Keywords : Reinforced Concrete Structure, Performance Analysis, Efficiency
