Abstract

In the structure of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, the village government is responsible for local government affairs and activities. All natural potentials must be explored, developed and fully utilized to achieve development goals. After the ratification of “Village Law No. 6 of 2014", "the legal framework for the existence of villages becomes strong because villages are regulated based on the principles of recognition, subsidiarity, diversity, togetherness, mutual cooperation, kinship, deliberation, democracy, independence and participation, Inclusion: Empowerment and Sustainability". So based on this legality, the village government has authority in the construction of road infrastructure, especially in Kramat Village. Where, based on the results of direct observation using the interview method with the village government consisting of the village head, village secretary, financial officer, BPD chairman, and community members as informants or resource persons, it was found that the planning indicators required the RPJM (Medium Term Development Plan) as village development planning work tools, and village government always involve all elements of society. In addition, the implementation indicator is carried out by the village head based on the regulations and guidelines that have been formed, as well as the supervision or monitoring indicator of the role of the Kramat village government, namely that it has carried out regular supervision and monitoring. The community is satisfied and giving good responses to the road infrastructure development process in Kramat village.
